On Saturday 12th June, Steve Jackson’s Under 16’s Travelled to Wyre Villa FC to face Poulton FC in the Hogan Cup Final! We can confirm that they returned home as Champions!

A lovely sunny day on a great pitch at Wyre Villa. The pitch was huge which suited our style of play. FC Rangers were excellent from the first minute, all the way to the last. Within the first 30 seconds we were 1-0 in front which helped calm the nerves.
After some great football, the lads went on to score 3 more goals before half time. With a commanding position we let the game drift a little in the second half allowing Poulton to pull a goal back.
However, this spurred the team on again as we netted our fifth goal making us run out worthy winners.
The team’s celebrations may be replicated within the next few weeks as they head in to their last 2 tough league games hoping to maintain pole position and make it a league/cup double!
Well done under 16’s you’ve done yourselves and our club proud. And you are now the UNDER 16’S HOGAN CUP CHAMPIONS 2020/21!
